Long Island Engagement Announcements

We are happy to announce the engagement of Carrie Schweber and Joshua weiner and to extend our congratulations to their families; Mitchell and Marlene Schweber and Paul and Ellen Weiner The bride, a Paralegal from Bellmore and the groom, an Attorney from Livingston NJ were engaged on December 16, 2006 in the groom's home in Liivingston. It was the second night of Hanukkah. Josh and Carrie were exchanging Hanukkah presents and Josh told Carrie to open her's last. Carrie (who thought she was getting a digital camera for Hanukkah) opened the camera sized box and inside was a small velvet box. Carrie was too shocked to speak at first, and just stared at the velvet box. Josh then took out the box, got down on one knee and asked Carrie to marry him. Josh then took Carrie to Highlawn Pavillion (a fabulous restaurant in NJ) for dinner and then the newly engaged couple went to a local restaurant in Livingston to meet his parents for dessert. While sitting at the restaurant, Josh told Carrie that he had another surprise for her, and when she turned around, her parents were there; Josh had planned to have them there with his parents to celebrate the couple's engagement. It was a perfect evening! They look forward to a July 2008 celebration. We wish them all the best.
