Our congratulations to Alison Schmalenberger and Robert Fleming and their families: Janice and Terry Schmalengberger and Robert and Denise Fleming.
The two, a Music Teacher from Patchogue and a Social Studies Teacher from Bohemia were engaged at the groom's house on Aril 22, 2007.
'The groom created a music video, featuring a string of filmed memories from the couple's 6.5 year courtship to the tune of 'September.' When the video came to a sudden halt, the bride asked why it was not yet completed. The groom then explained that it was not finished, because the best part had not yet been filmed. With that, he procured the ring, and asked for her hand in marriage. The bride was unaware that the entire spectacle was secretly being filmed. Later that week, the groom went back and added the proposal into the music video.'
They look forward to a July 2008 celebration.
