Long Island Engagement Announcements

We are happy to announce the engagement of Delicia Hutchinson and Pernell Carsewell and welcome them to our online family. Best wishes to them bothe and their families: Olga Blair; and Deborah Jones and Pernell Carswell Sr. The two, from Brooklyn an Harlem respectively were engaged on May 25, 2007 while in Virginia Beach. ' I bought a home for him and I to share together. During this time he was on a 8 month deployment with the US Navy. Upon his arrival I brought him to the new home for a tour. He toured the upstairs bedrooms while holding me and he kept saying 'This is a house for married couples.' In my mind I'm wondering if he wants to wait until we get married to move in together. While he continued to look around, I toured the master bath and walk in closet. Upon my return to the master bedroom there he was on his knee with a ringbox in his hand. He grabbed my hand..gave a beautiul speech about how much he loved me and how much I meant to him and proceeded to ask for my hand in marriage. After fully registering what was happening I responded with a loud and joyful YESSSS!!! They look forward to a June 2008 celebration at Leonards of Great Neck. We wish them all the best.
