Welcome and best wishes to Michelle Carpenter and Brian Gassen and their families: Susan and Donald; and Donna and Alan. The happy couple: A Cutomer Response Center Representative and a Field Production Professional, both from North Lindenhurst were engaged on December 14, 2007 at Rockefeller Center. 'Being well planned out in advance, Brian convinced me to work a half day and take the train into the city for an evening together before the hustle and bustle of the holidays First stop was to a quant little Irish Pub for a nice quiet dinner then off to see the Radio City Christmas Specticular with the famous long legged Rockettes. After the conclusion of the show , we took a walk over to the tree. Brian convinced me to put away the camera and to walk over towards the NBC studio location. The location was vacant and further away from the view of the tree, with some resistance, I finally gave in. To my surprise, Brian had a surprise up his sleeve... he dropped to one knee and proposed to me. 'He wanted to give me best present ever under one of the largest Christmas trees'. Brian insisted on rushing home right away to show his parents the ring. To my surprise yet again, waiting for us was a group of our close friends waiting to congratulate us. (December 14th, 2007) On Christmas morning, we exchaged presents like normal, but this time was extra special. Not only because we were engaged, but Brian revealed a gift that contained photographs. He was able to have one of his co-workers capture our special day without me knowing. Now we have picturesto go with the memories for the day we got engaged!!' They look forward to a January 9, 2010 celebration. We wish them all the very best.
