We got engaged on our 5 year anniversary. We had reservations to Koi in NYC. It was raining all day. I was at work and telling my colleagues that I didn't want to go out because of the miserable weather. All of the older colleagues agreed and said to just reschedule. Then a younger colleague told me not to be old, put on a dress and go out. So I did just that. When I got home I saw a balloon and card on my bed. The card said for me to get in the town car outside and head to the city. I knew then something was up. Fast forward over 2 hours of traffic...I get to the city. After a fast shower and change we headed to the MET. I was hesitant b/c I was just there the week before. But we went in and he proposed.

The happy couple engaged on May 9, 2008 looks forward to a July 17, 2009 celebration.
