Amberly Salazar & Giuseppe Marra

We are happy to announce the engagement of Amberly Salazar to Giuseppe Marra and to extend our congratulations to their families: Mary Jane Giordano; and Maria Josephine and Michael Marra.
The happy couple, a Future Accountant/Controller and an Information Technology Manager, both from Valley Stream were engaged at Amberly's Grandparents' house on August 17, 2008.
They look forward to a September 5, 2010 celebration.
'We were at my grandparent's house for a going away party for my younger brother who recently left for college. Joe's father was diagnosed with Cancer and he spent most of that day at the hospital with his father. He later came to my grandparent's house with his mother, and cousin. He bought a camera so he can videotape everything for his father. He had my younger brother videotape everyone saying feel better to his father. Then we took some pictures, when we were done he turned me around, got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. It was a huge surprise to me with everything that has been going on with his father, but EVERYONE at the party knew. We are both excited and can't wait for the wedding to come.'
They look forward to a September 5, 2010 celebration.
