Welcome aboard and congratulations to Joanne and Franco and to their respective families: Celeste and Jack: and Nella and Nando. The happy couple: A Teacher, and a New York Roofing Company Employee/Photographer from Bayside and Franklin Square respectively were egnaged in NYC on May 2, 2009. 'It started out to be a rainy day but all of a sudden the sun came out and minutes later the surprise limo arrived to pick us up at my house. We went to dinner at a nice Italian Restaurant in Manhattan. I started to get nervous, when during dinner Franco said he had a special ' life changing' surprise for me..so he reached into his pocket and it ended up being an i phone ( to throw me off). i was so excited because i really wanted a new one. Suddenly I felt at ease and was able to enjoy my dinner. Next we went to take pictures by the red LOVE sculpture in NYC. I have been dying to do that. We got back into the limo and went to see a broadway play. The evening was just perfect. SO after the play, I thought we were going home and the limo stops and drops us off in front of a building. I had no idea where we were. So Franco led me to the special room at the 'W' hotel in Times Square, he opened the door and there were over 60 tea lights lit and rose petals everywhere. There was a huge heart made of rose petals on the bed with a little box in the middle!! it was the most amazing, unexpected sight I've ever seen, and then he proposed... I thought it only happened like this in movies!! It was surreal!!! I will remember this day forever! he made my dreams come true!' They look forward to a July 2, 2011 celebration. We would like to welcome them aboard and wish them all the very best.
