The happy DC couple: a Store Manager and an Executive Chef were engaged on December 21, 2008 at the groom's father's house in Maryland.
'He is a Wasington Redskins fan and I am a Philadelphia Eagles fan. We went to his fathers house to watch the game on the Big screen TV. At Halftime of the game he comes over to where I am sitting and kneels down on one knee. He asked me to marry him in front of his father, mother, and twin brother. I of course said Yes, I will! There was not a dry eye in the room'
They look forward to a May 16, 2009 celebration.
