Long Island Engagement Announcements

On December 20th, 2008 we were going on a cruise to celebrate our 2 year anniversary . It was a nightmare in the beginning as we missed our flight and the next two flights we could get on to make our ship were delayed, so we missed the departure of our cruise ship. We had to stay in Miami for two nights then fly out to meet the ship at it's first port of call, Grand Cayman. Being that we arrived in Grand Cayman we missed the chance to explore the island and the only other stop on the itinerary was the next day in Jamiaca. On Tuesday, December 23rd, 2008 We went to one of the famous tourist spots in Jamaica , Dunn's River Falls. We walked around and saw the beautiful waterfall and watched everyone climb it. The next thing I knew my fiance, Jason spotted this grassy area with a white gazebo and demanded we take a picture in front of it, he then proceeded to walk around and find someone to take our picture, which wasn't like him as he never likes taking pictures. The next thing i knew, he is walking back toward me with a woman following him holding our camera, he then grabs my hand squeezing ever so tightly and pulls me toward the Gazebo. He then got down on one knee as he was shaking and tearing and said ' I have been waiting so long to do this, I want to be with you forever, will you marry me?' it took me about 20 minutes to say YES as i couldn't stop happily crying. It was a beautiful proposal and i couldn't be happier right now! Congratulations and best wishes to Healther Roth and Jason Eichenbaum on their recent engagement.
