Long Island Engagement Announcements

We are happy to welcome to our online family Charisse and Barry and to extend our congratulations to their respective families: Patricia and Eddie; and Bea and Paddy. The happy couple: a Client Service Associate and a Painting Contractor from Sayville and Dublin respectively were engaged on December 25, 2008 on the becroom deck of their new home. 'It was Christmas morning. I was in the living room and Barry was upstairs in our room. He texted me 'come up to the bedroom deck'. I thought he wanted to show me something since we had just bought the house a week before. So I go out onto the deck and said 'I want to give you something' so he hands me a gift bag with lots of tissue paper in it, and at the bottom of the bag is a little box. So I open it and I was completely SHOCKED. He said 'I want to spend the rest of my life with you, so will you'? I said 'of course I will'. I was truly stunned, I didn't know what to say or do so I just hugged him and could'nt let go! We were both so happy!!!' They look forward to a May 7, 2010 celebration. We wish them all the best
