We're getting married!!!!!
Congratulations and welcome to Lucille and Jason and their families: Lucille and Ralph and Ziggy and Fran.
The two: an elementary teacher and a sales represtntative both from Smithtown were engaged on March 21, 2009.
'Lucille really put Jason through hell that day. On an ordinary routine Saturday, after basically eating nothing for breakfast, Jay starting making very nice suggestions on ways to spend the beautiful day....and he got them all shot down. 'Nah, not the beach Jay, I'm wearing boots!' So finally, Jay ended up making the decision himself and took Lucille to the quiet duck pond by his house. Lucille still complained, 'But babe, we didn't even bring any bread for the ducks!'...'Just get out of the car, Lu...' So they did. Knowing that his girlfriend had been working on a scrapbook documenting their relationship thus far (and had reminded him many a time that she was running out of pages...nudge nudge!) Jay took it upon himself to begin a new book, meant to document their time as an engaged couple. He presented the beautiful album to Lucille who opened it to see the very first page, complete with the message, 'Lucille, will you marry me?' She forgot how to breathe immediately. She basically blanked out during his whole beautiful speech while he was down on one knee...UNTIL she heard those magic four words. She of course answered YES! ...She still feels bad about the poor ducks...'
They look forward to a July 17, 2010 celebraion.
