Welcome aboard and best wishes to the happy couple: Anne and Steven and to their respective families: Patrick and Anne; and Anthony and Rita.
The two: an Audiologist and a Construction Management Professional from Brooklyn and Dix Hills respectively were engage at the groom's house on March 5, 2010.
'My bride wanted to be surprised, so I surprised the HELL out of her. After getting into an 'argument' over buying a new dress for EVERY party she goes to, I told her she is going to need a dress for the engagement party. After laughing and saying she already had one, I told her it better match 'this.' 'This' being the ring I just pulled while her back was turned. After she literally dropped everything she had in her hands, she continued to point and shout 'what is this?!?' and 'is this for real?!?' for several minuets. 2 strangers even walked by and slowly realized what was going on, so I asked the spectators 'Girls, can you tell her what this is, because she doesn't seem to know?' So now, everyone is in shock, and I start asking her 'what do you say', to which she responds 'No, what do YOU say'. I reply with 'are you REALLY going to make me do it?' So of course, i drop to one knee and ask 'well.....you gonna marry me or what?' And there was much rejoice!!'
They look forward to a September 10, 2011 celebration.
