Long Island Engagement Announcements

Oh my where to begin?!?... Let me just say I have never been so speechless. On April 11, 2009 we decided to go on a little day trip to Manhattan like we do from time to time. It was a rainy day and it didn't seem to be clearing up anytime soon. On our way there it seemed that nothing was going quite as expected as it was still raining and we had hit traffic. On top of that we couldn't find parking. When we finally got to Manhattan the sky cleared up and we made our way to the park. While walking towards this particular bridge we like, Stephen asked me if I wanted to dance (like in the notebook). As we danced he slowly turned me and when I faced him again he had gotten down on one knee and .... well I have no idea what he said lol all I no is that there was a ring he was holding out to me with a big nervous smile on his face... It doesn't stop there... Let's flash forward two weeks later on my birthday... Stephen tells me to sit down and he puts a DVD on. I sit down confused as to whats going on. My family gathers around when all of the sudden I hear music and see our picture on the screen while Stephen is proposing!!! He filmed and took pictures of our entire engagement! My aunt and uncle have a photography/videography company called 4Productions and they had all planned this for months!! They were hiding in the bushes while we got engaged! This truly gave me complete feeling of the engagement. I must say that although being proposed to at central park was very romantic I felt a little sad that there was no way to capture it or share it with others but when Stephen surprised me with the video I couldn't help but feel so happy and lucky to have someone so special.. I can't wait to start planning =] Congratulations, welcome aboard and all the best to Jennifer and Stephen.
