Welcome aboard and best wishes to Khalie W. and Jon A. and to their respective families: Cathy and Dave; and Karen and Forrest.
The two: An ESL Teacher and a Special Education Teacher from Lynbrook were engaged on December 23, 2009 at Jon's House.
'While decorating the Christmas tree, Jon waited for Kay to walk around to the other side to slip the ring on the tree like an ornament. Attached to the ring was a tag saying 'Khalie, Will you marry me?' When Khalie finally saw the ring (about 3 minutes later!), Jon was on a knee. After 20 seconds of silence, then another 20 seconds of disbelief, the tears of joy began.'
They look forward to a November 11, 2011 celebration at Windows on the Lake, in Lake Ronkonkoma.
