Long Island Engagement Announcements

Ringing in the new year is not only a tradition from most, but it's a time to start a new and move on to a bigger and better year. What better way to ring in the new year than to be surrounded by friends and family, have a cup a champagne and a confetti popper! As i held my glass of champagne in my mouth, using two hands to twist and pop my popper, I prepared for the countdown....3-2-1!!! As I figured out my complicated, two hands needed popper, i got a tap on my shoulder from my boyfriend of 5 1/2 years. I went to hug him but the space across from me was empty. This is because he was on one knee holding an engagement ring asking me to marry him. I must admit, i was a little confused. I was trying to get this popper, I wasn't sure what he was holding because the ring was not in the box and all I saw was the tinsel on the Christmas tree behind him...and i had a few glasses of champagne in me. Once I figured out what was going on, I said yes and the new year started off the better than I could have imagined. We were lucky to have it on video so I could see how silly I looked trying to get that popper to pop! Cheers !!! Congratulations, welcome and best wishes to Debbie Albano and Roman Seltenreich.
