Lynda & Kenny

A warm welcome and congratulations to Lynda and Kenny. The couple; Lynda of East Northport and Kenny of Malverne; were engaged on March 12, 2011 in Rockefeller Center, NYC.
'Kenny took me into NYC and surprised me by taking me to the Top of the Rock at Rockefeller Center. We both have mentioned that we always wanted to check out the views of the city from there. But also it was a way to get me to the Rockefeller Center area since that is where he wanted to propose to me, by the ice skating rink. On our third date, he took me to Rockefeller Center during Christmas time, a year and a half ago so he wanted to re-create that night for the proposal. After visiting the Top of the Rock, we walked by the ice skating rink as there is a certain spot where we shared a kiss on the third date. We went back approximately to that spot. We watched the skaters for a bit then he got me to turn around where he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. I was so surprised and shocked, and said 'of course.' I was so happy and excited. After celebrating together with a great big hug and kiss, we shared the news with our families. We then got into a limo that Kenny arranged, the limo driver popped a bottle of champagne for us and we had a glass on our way to a restaurant for lunch. We then celebrated lunch at Da Rosina which is where we had dinner on our third date. After that, we went back Long Island to celebrate with our families and friends.'
The happy couple is looking forward to their July 20, 2012 nuptials at Flowerfield in St. James.
