We would like to welcome and congratulate Ashley Dorato and Richard Ruiz, and extend our congratulations to their respective families: Ellen and Dennis, Jerry and Sue; and Joanna. Ashley, of East Meadow, and Richard, of Baldwin, were engaged on April 16, 2011. There story:
'I set up a vineyard/wine tasting tour to celebrate both mine & Richie's birthdays with our families and closest friends. After I made a toast thanking everyone for coming, Richie announced he had something to add, telling everyone how the time he & I have spent together has been the best time in his life. Then, after the ring box got stuck in his pocket because he was so nervous, he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. I was already crying at this point and could barely speak, but I finally was able to say YES!'
Ashley and Richard look forward to their celebration of love on May 13, 2013 at Crest Hollow Country Club.
