A warm welcome and congratulations to Brittany and Brian, and an extended congratulations to their respective families; Barbara and Bill; Kathy and George. Brittany, a special education teacher from Stewart Manor, and Brian, a court officer from Bellerose, were engaged on August 18, 2012 at the Hyatt Regency, Maui, Hawaii.
'We were on our first real vacation together after almost five years of dating and decided to eat at one of their Oceanside Dining cabanas for dinner. The waitor asked us if we wanted to take a few pictures before sitting down to eat...when I turned around to take one of the pictures, I realized no one was standing next to me anymore. I looked down to see him on his knee. After crying for about five minutes, I said of course!'
The happy couple is looking forward to their Summer of 2014 Long Island wedding!
