A warm welcome and congratulations to Vanessa and Tommy on their recent engagement. Also, an extended congratulations to their respective families; Lucia and Jimmy; Patty and Joe. Vanessa, a teach, and Tommy, a fireman, both from Bellerose, were engaged on May 18, 2013 on top of Rockefeller Center. 'We were at the top of Rockefeller Center overlooking the Empire State Building. One moment I heard him say, 'so this is it.' I was thinking we were getting ready to leave, but then I saw him reach into his pocket and get down on one knee. He then said, 'Are you ready to make me the luckiest man alive; will you marry me?' I was so surprised and in complete shock, but of course said, 'Yes!' We then went out to eat to celebrate and we can't express how happy we are to start this new journey.' The happy couple is looking forward to their August 9, 2014 celebration of love at the Bridgeview Yacht Club.
