I person called to tell us he was not coming the week before.

3 people did not show - 2 invited and the ONLY plus 1 (DH's boss!!) Grrrr!

We had 10 no shows. Not one sent a gift or even a card for that matter.

WE HAD 2 NO SHOW BUT I FIGURED AT LEAST 2 WOULDNT SO I LEFT TWO PEOPLE OFF THE FINAL COUNT.

Very strange, we had only 1 not show but her date came to the wedding. This woman is someone who DH used to work with (she just left the job 2 months ago) and her date was a guy that used to work with DH as well (he left the job about a year and a half ago). We didn't mind at all because we actually wanted to invite this guy because he is still friends with everyone from DH's job and they were all invited but DH didn't get me his address and then we found out the he was going as this woman's date so we said forget it.

When my mom got married to my step dad 15-20 didn't show that said they were coming. That is horrible to pay for that many people.

1 couple got stuck in Belgium b/c there was an airline strike. 1 couple the husband has terminal cancer and was sick a few days before the wedding. The third couple, we have no idea. However, we were under our minimum so we had to pay for them whether they showed or not. They gave us most of the extra meals at the end.
