DH and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary with dinner at the fox hollow on Saturday night. I can't believe it has been over a year since I was a bride. Are we still newlyweds? It has been a wonderful year! It went so fast, I feel like we'll turn around and 10 years will be gone!

YAYYY Congrats! Of course you're still NW's! Are you gonna have wedding cake? I'm always interested if its still good!

oh boy - what a scary thought! lol. But it's so true. I mean, my older sister celebrated her 5 year anniversary this past September and it seriously feels like her wedding just happened maybe 2 years ago. So weird! Even me just celebrating our 4 month anniversary next week seems INSANE. Four months? It feels like only mere weeks! lol.

Seriously - congratulations on your first wonderful year together of many many more

(and I think you'll always be a newlywed in heart. lol. For me - it's till i have kids though)

Seriously! That's something to be proud of! My parents just celebrated their 28th anniversary this past October. I love knowing that I'll have Dh the rest of my life - that one day that will be US celebrating with our 'adult' children. lol. There's a lot in life to look forward to. I'm excited.

We ate our cake on our 1 week anniversary..lol! We used Cakes by Jay and he told us he'd make us a replica for our anniversary but we never called him. Our cake was too good to wait for!

They didn't give us anything special or free. I was actually surprised by that since they even asked us if it was a special occasion and we told them what it was for. They did have the live musician sing to us and put a candle in our dessert. The food was INCREDIBLE!! It was just under $80 for dinner. I had wine and we shared a dessert. Honestly, i didn't feel like that was so bad for our anniversary. I highly recommend going there. It was nice to walk on the grounds and think about our day. Also, we saw our maitre'd and got to see the bride and groom walking around that were in our room. It was great!

yeah we ate most of our cake the week following the wedding and saved a small piece for our 1 year anni.
