So DH and I were gonna go away for 2 nights for our one year. But the show he is playing in the pit for (for his old high school- they asked him to do it) is performing that weekend. I thought it was the weekend before. Im pretty bummed out cus I will never have anopther 1 year anniversary again. But anyway, the show probably goes till 10 or 10:30pm. Any ideas of a nice restaurant in Nassau county that takes reservations that late??

i LOVE Symposio on sunrise hwy in merrick (i think... or maybe bellmore)
classic italian place that has a classy piano player playing on the weekends... very small and cute place!!
ETA: not sure if they take late reservations... but call them - i think its the perfect quaint place for an anniversary dinner!!

Can you go the weekend b4, dh is working the weekend of our 1 yr anniversary, which i i think is the same weekend as yours, so we decided to go away the weekend b4 and then just maybe have dinner at home for our real anniversary

a lot of places stop seating at 10. hmmm.. If i think of something I'll let you know. FH works for teh FDNY and had to work all of our first holidays together and to tell you the truth.... staying in cooking dinner adn a movie made me feel better !
