For those who paid for the wedding & honeymoon expenses, do you still have bills to pay off?

not really b/c most had to be paid off before the wedding even happened, only thing i'm stillpaying is the honeymoon i put on my credit card, but there's not much left

no, we psaid everything in cash. That was my rule, if we cant pay for it now - were not getting it. Im so thankful we did it that way.

no, we paid everything in cash. we went on shorter HM because of it and i had to scrimp in certain areas, but as much as it seemed crappy to scrimp when planning for the wedding i'm glad we did so now.

no, we put a lot of it on a credit card (for points) and paid it off as soon as the bills came.

Nope- we were in bad credit situations and didn't have cards- thank goodness- so mostly everything was paid in cash beforehand! The only things I have left to pay are my final photo and video deposite!
We also went on a small HM, but I have my sights set on Hawaii for our first or second anniverstary :)

We got engaged two and a half years before and we both lived at home, so we were able save for it the whole time. We were able to pay for everything in cash. But we did have to pay off the air fare for the HM a month later. I put the money on the side for it. Although,we did have to pay off the expensive couch that we bought a year ago and we just paid that off last week .

We did the same thing!!!!Im so glad we did. The last thing we needed is a ton of Credit card bills after the wedding.

no. we had saved (esp. me b/c i always knew that if i wanted a wedding, that it was up to me, not my family) so we paid in full. the only thing we put on the card (and we wanted to put it all on the card for points but only the photog. took credit cards) was the honeymoon and we paid it off when we got back. i don't like to pay for things that have already been used and depleted.

thankfully, no.
We almost had to do that, but, thankfully we received more money as gifts than we thought, and were able to pay everything off right away!

Yes, none of our weddding gifts were used to pay off wedding expenses.

We are still paying it off.
We really only charged the honeymoon, our rings and a little bit of the bridal party gifts. We only got engaged 9 months before we got married and quite honestly didn't start saving until 7 months before. We knew we would be paying some after. The only thing we didn't know was that I was going to get laid off a week before my wedding. I am still out of work and still paying for the wedding 10 months later.

We paid everything in cash except for the rings and the HM we charged. We paid it off with wedding gifts immediatley after.

We both were very much in our 'lives' we both come from lower middle class familes. Neither of us have great jobs and both of us dont have roots here in NY or extended family that could help with the wedding.
So yes
I am still paying for my wedding.
We had to take a loan out at the end. It was the best I could do.
