Ok ladies here goes my 1st QOTD........ If you could do your wedding all over again would you still spend the same amount of money knowing that you dont get it back in the end?
DH has of course said to me a few times as wondeful as everything was on our day we still should have eloped and put that money on a down payment for our house. Part of me feels the same, being Im the more reasonable one but, on the other hand I wasnt giving up my dream of having a wedding. A reason why I set a budget and stuck with it ** sorry its so late but after work had to take DH to PT tonight** Hope everyone had a great day

No I wouldn't do it any other way. I loved my wedding day and it was a moment in time I will remember forever and always have. I wish I could have gotten it back in the end, but it was so worth it for the memories, the pictures and to have that day that was all about us.

ITA....if it was financially do-able, Id have a vow renewal every year & an after party just like my wedding reception every year - it was truly better than I had even dreamed it to be...

I would spend it all over again! I would maybe even spend MORE lol bc in hindsight, I would have known better and saved more for it!!!! Before my wedding I bought things I could have done without, (a kitchen renovation, some new furniture that wasn't a necessity) I was kicking myself bc I could have used that money to buy more wedding things! My wedding fund would have much more $$ in it for the redo!

Um if there was a way to have my wedding the same exact way, but save some money i would...if not sounds horrible, but the money was worth every penny cuz my day was exactly how i dreamt of it.

I would TOTALLY do it again...I would have spent double what we did to do it all over. I'm obsessed with our wedding lol....people still talk about it too. Like someone else posted if I could have a wedding every year to the same man, I would.

I would not change a thing. My day was perfect. It's not about money, it's about love, happiness, and good times.

Thinking back I would change things here and there and to save money I would consider having the wedding off-peak but my wedding was amazing regardless!!!

I feel like we spent a reasonable amount (well, for the tri-state area at least, not for the rest of the country) and everything was perfect and exactly what we wanted. I have no regrets about the amount of money we spent.

We had such a tight budget from the start and we were so careful with our money that I would totally do it again! I would actually spend more money on a few things if I could. But I had the best and the most perfect wedding I could have asked for...
