I am going to do a boudoir photo shoot so that will be one girft, but I was thinking about getting him an African Congo bird, or a gold bracelet, but am not sure. I really don’t want to spend more than 1k and the shoot alone is $400, but the bird is $1,000 on its own. Has anyone gone shopping for jewelry?
If so how much is the gram? Have you bought your DH any jewelry if so what and how much? If you don’t feel comfortable can you please FM.
TIA

Re: 1st Ann
We don't plan on doing anything really. I didn't think you had to lol We are trying to save for a house like we have never saved for anything in our lives ever before, so I doubt we will do anything anyway :(

Re: 1st Ann
I also want to go away (probably a cruise), but we tend to give each other presents even on our dating ann (of course not as much $$) but being this is our 1st I want to get him something really nice, but am having trouble deciding what to get him that he will really like. I want it to be something he can look at so he can always remember our 1st ann. I was also thinking the bird is too expensive plus I have 3 dogs so I kinda dont want another pet, but than again that will be his pet instead of mine.

Re: 1st Ann
We just got married, but the 'present' is already pre-determined -- we have to go to China for his brother's wedding, so we are extending the trip and going back to Phuket (where we did half our HM) and also going to Hong Kong! We wanted to do something more low-key, but since we HAVE to fly to China we might as well do a few other things!

Birthing a child! But really I think we might do a night in the city as gifts to each other, the baby will only be 2 months old so we won't go away for the entire weekend but maybe for the night.

I have no idea - it's too far away for me to think about it. Besides, he has a three-day reserve drill that weekend so whatever we decide to do has to be postponed.
