30th Birthday Idea's & Plans

Anyone turning 30 and thinking about what they want to do?

I really want to be away for my Bday next year, and want to do something special.

Anyone have any ideas or can post what they did on their 30th bday!

DH and I are going to London for my 30th birthday in November. We'll be taking a trip trip to Paris while we are there, and probably a day out to one of the areas outside of London like Bath.

i.can't.freaking.wait!

I plan on walking into many pubs on my birthday and saying 'OY! Its my birthday, and I wanna get PISSSED!' who can resist an American girl who wants to party?

You are going to have a blast!! Dh and i went to London in March and had such a great time. We also did a full day tour to Stonehenge, Lacock and Bath. I highly recommend this tour, it starts at sunrise and its the only time your allowed to go right up to the stones and touch them and take pictures. Lacock and Bath were really nice too and just the drive through the English countryside was beautiful! FM if you have any questions!

For my 30th b-day i did nothing All of my friends were busy (with real excuses) so I couldn't plan anything. Dh's band played Irving Plaza the night before so that was my party night, but it certainly wasn't a celebration for me! I was just telling my co-worker that i'd like to do something this year for my 1st b-day (31st that is )

What I would have liked to have done, was go to Caroline's on Broadway. I love seeing comics there, its so much fun!

We did it for DH's, that's why I was going to suggest it. It was a blast, people still talk about it. It was legen wait for it dary

My girlfiends and I are all turning 30 next year so we are going on a cruise..

we invited anyone else that we wanted to, and it is up to them if they want to go or not. It is better than having 6 parties we thought.

Me too! I copied and pasted what I posted to DH because barney is our favorite character of any tv show, ever! Did you see him on the a-list awards?

We originally planned to do a big trip out west for skiing, spa and 4-star dinners celebrating both of 30ths at the same time.

Well.. for DH's 30th I'll be 7 months preggo and for my 30th we will have a 6 month old so the BIG blowout trip is axed.

i also would prefer to just go away. I really really do not want a party and especially not a surprise party.
