Hey Everyone! Happy Monday! Sorry I am doing this so late...we've been off the network and had no access to internet all morning here at work. Needless to say I've been pretty bored.
Anyways, isn't it such a beautiful day? I am starting to feel so happy and hopeful for the spring/summer.
So today's QOTD is...what are you most looking forward to when the nice weather arrives? Are you planning any vacations? Is there something you love to do when the weather is nice?
I am most looking forward to outdoor brunches in the city. I love getting together with friends and enjoying the nice fresh air. Also - I love picnics in Central Park. I am also really looking forward to wearing different clothes...I am getting so sick of my winter wardrobe!!!
Unfortunately we don't have any big vacations planned for the summer since DH just started a new job. I thought we were going to be able to go to Dominican Republic in July, but plans had to be pushed back to December. We do plan to take weekend trips to Hershey Park and Boston and maybe some other places as well.

I cant wait to take our boat out and got o the beach! Oh and having BBQ's!! And our cruise in July and camping with some of these lovely LIW ladies!! So many things to look forward to!!

well when it gets nice outside it means one thing..softball season!!!!!!
i have been playing since im 7 years old and still play in a coed league with friends
also h and i go play basketball and walk in the park
also makes me crave all the bbqs we will be having
im such a slob

I think this yr I may buy a bicycle so I can get out more and excercise. I may also have DH teach me to play basketball...I am trying to get more active!!!
I am also looking forward to New Orleans in the beginning of April and then Italy in June.

When the weather starts getting warm I look forward to our BBQs on the beach...don't know how we're going to handle this now this year though because we would always go to West Meadow for sunset, because I lived 10 minutes away, but now we'd have to drive over a half hour to get there, and the flipping Huntington Beaches charge an arm and a leg for parking We need to figure out logistics...we also go out east more often, although we actually prefer to go in the winter when it's less busy in the wineries.

I'm looking forward to bbq's at my house and my best friends house down the block. And all the family parties. March starts of 'birthday season' in our familes, from now until the end of August we'll have a party at least every other weekend, if not every weekend.

mountain biking w/DH, LIW camping trip, BBQ's playing tennis w/DH & golf w/ DH, my dad & my brother
Also would def like to do a day @ the wineries if anyone is interested this summer or maybe early fall too.
We were talking about possibly doing a backyard Luau to celebrate our 1 year, so if anyone is interested in taking the hike upstate - let me know I'll FM you the evite when it's ready

We have a bunch of things that we are really looking forward to this spring/summer
1st is finally getting into our house!!! and having our 1st Anual DUDA-Q yes DH has been planning this before we even got the house! LOL (liw girls you all will be invited!!)
2nd we are going on a bermuda cruise in july!! soo ready for that vacation!!!
3rd my new neice or nephew being born! my sister in law is due end of august!!!
4th we have a bunch of weddings to go to! my cousins in july, a friend in august, and a friend in september!!
oh and 5th the LIW camping trip!!
hurry summer hurry!!!!

I can't wait for our first spring and summer as homeowners with a backyard!! I've lived in apartments for the past 16 years and even though my last apt had a beautiful terrace on the water, it wasn't a backyard!!!
I can't wait to host our first BBQ!

I can't wait for summer evenings at Fire Island, taking the boat out, and heading down to the NJ Shore to spend summer weekends boating, eating outside, taking bike rides on the boardwalk
For spring we are going to Florida for a week in April which will be great. My parents have the boat down there so its like an early summer week.
Then I am looking forward to visiting my BM in DC in April because I love that city in the spring. I love walking downtown and sitting outside. It was always my favorite time of year there.
I love Spring and really love summer!

It probably sounds super dorky, but I’m actually really excited to garden! DH and I are just waiting for our closing date, and I can’t wait to be bale to pick out flowers and things to decorate the outside of our house!
Plus being able to have all of our friends and family over for BBQs and stuff… so excited!

I can't wait to BBQ everynight, I love to make dinner on the BBQ-it just taste sooo much better I think. I can't wait to bring the puppy to the park. No vacations planned, everything is dependent on if I'm working or not.

OMG, the EPM bed! We spent many fabulous hours laying on that bed on our balcony. sighhhh...I wanna go back!

I love being able to go to dinner/lunch/brunch any meal really & sit outside. We walk & take our pup, I love it. I can't wait for our to arrive so we can take her on nice sunset strolls. I just love D.C. in the spring/summer there is so much to do. I also love having barbecue for dinner. I will miss the beach this summer not living on LI though.

Me too!!! I cant wait to plant my flowers and make our house look nice outside. I was just telling DH we should find out when to start seeding for our lawn and of course the bbq's in the backyard too!!

Running the boardwalk! Biking with Dh on the boardwalk then going for lunch outside & then biking back. YANKEE GAMES. Planting/gardening my spring/summer flowers. BBQing!!!!! THE BEACH!!! Anything that means being outside & active. Boating, Fire Island trips - But if we get this house seeing its progress as we renovate! PRAYING!

In the summer you get to leave at 1 every other friday!!
Plus I'll have weekends off.....
ETA: all these things will give us more snuggle time and we can spend full weekends together!
