40th Surprise B-day

So my aunt is throwing a 40th surprise party for my cousin at River Bay. its an afternoon thing, and I dont have a clue what to wear! Dress, pants or skirt?

Also, what do you buy a 40 year old!?!?!

Pants are fine, with a nice blouse or sweater. At Riverbay you are going to be sitting anyway.

Gift cards are always an easy way out. I usually do the American Express gift card or gift check, this way it can be used at almost any place. Hate to say it, but I prefer getting those instead of lotions or perfumes I would never use.

Yea its a sit down, the whole place is closed for this party. I love it there, the food is always so good!!

I know I want to get him some gag gifts like bifocals and a cane or something....

I think pants and a nice top or a skirt would be suitable

I would give a gift card as well if it were my cousin.

My Uncle recently went to a 50th birthday party. He purchased an Am-Ex card and gave him a prank thig as well. He bought M&M's and rubbed the M&M off only the blue ones. He took an old pill bottle, cleaned it out a printed a fake Viagra perscription label. I thought that was hilariuos, but it depends on the person. My uncles friend thought it was so funny! He does that all the time now!
