I saw there was video on CNN yesterday, but couldn't find an article. I feel like I've heard this story before though. I think I've seen something on TV about it.

How bittersweet.....when you hear stories like this, it really makes you appreciate your health and the health of all those around you....

So sad, what a beautiful little girl. Makes you stop and appreciate all that you have.

i thought it was illegal to get married before a certain age. I know without parent consent you need be around 17 or 18, but even WITH consent, I still thought there was an age limit, like 15 or 16. Not sure.

Either way, this is a sad story

I dont think it was a legally bound marriage. They just wanted her to experience her own wedding.

That was so sweet and so sad. I think her parents are wonderful for giving their little girl a dream come true!

they didnt pledge marriage it was for 'forever friendship' and it was keep so she could experience it.

i think its so sad but its so sweet she got to have a 'wedding' day.
