I am very upset about the following situation and to be honest not really sure if anything can be done.
After the wedding my firend has been acting a bit strange. Even at the wedding he didn't dance and left really early. He was our witness. When I asked to come for a practice a day before the wedding, he said that he can't. On the day of the wedding they came late, so we had to wait for them and could not sign our certificate and start a ceremony.
Couple of months after the wedding it was his wife's birthday to which they didn't invite us, even thought we always went to them.
Then we were inviting our friends over to watch our wedding video and to just socialize and invited them over our house as well, so my friend came up with an excuse not to come.
This week was his birthday and I know that he is celebrating it tomorrow and we are not invited again, so I decided to ask him about it straight out (to simply figure out what happend and to possibly resolve issues that they have), but after I sent him a message with a question I didn't get a response from him at all.
I wish I knew what happend, this way it would at least make me feel better, but it looks like I lost him as a friend.
Sorry for the vent, but it's just really upsetting and hurting when close people are just dissapearing from your life without telling the reason.

I SO feel you on this..same situation with my MOH. havent spoken to her since September and she seemed fine, but won't return my phone calls at all. Called her cell, her home, even hre husband. Tried emailing, writing and nada...
I have a feeling I know what it might involve, but we had squashed that issue (or so we said) immediately and we had talked many times since then and been fine. But once I moved out of NYc and stopped being 5 min away, it was out of sight, out of mind for her.
I even sent her a text message and card saying 'Whatever the issue is, Im still here with my door wide Open. I miss my friend.'
NADA.
REALLY hurts cause she was my best friend and my MOH for crying out loud! She's all over my damn album and it just really hurts.
It doesnt make it better for you, but I do understand! I hope your ending is better than mine was.

Thanks for sharing and I do feel your pain. It seems that wedding brings out the worst in people :(

Yea I think so and our weddings wre 2 weeks apart, hence why some of the dram ensued. But its stupid. if you're GOOD friends and you love one another, kill the drama and start over. I dont like passive agressiveness and getting blindsided.

I totaly agree with you. I think that if you are close friends and care about each other, then you should forgive each other no matter what or at least talk it over with that person.

I did and that still didn't help. He pretended that nothing happend. I just got tired of it and ask it out he pretended that he needs to go.
I don't understand why it's so hard to just say something, especially since I am asking.

Re: A bit upset about a friend....
hum ... very interesting topic. You find out who your friends really are around a wedding. I don't know why.
Even my event planner told me when I would cry to her about situations that arose - She said 'Weddings bring out the worst in people'
Isn't that sad? My MOH are a bit off too.. and I lost a friend during our wedding planning process.
They have tendency to get offended easy over things you have no clue about and usually shut down.
like us Brides have nothing more to do but think about watching everything we are doing or saying around everyone at that time! UGGG!
And to think I was NOT even a BRIDEzilla.. I can only imagine if I were and how many more people I would have offended or hurt.
Anyway- I am sure it is along the lines of this something that is bothering them and they are too embarrassed to talk about it. Lot's of peeps hate confrontation so they avoid it entirely.

Re: A bit upset about a friend....
Thanks girls! I was hoping that he'll be able to talk about it with me as well, that's why I brought the issue up on the first place, but turns out I was wrong. Hopefully he'll come around.
