DH had to be in PA on Wednesday morning to teach a class so he left Tuesday night so that he could sleep in PA and not have to leave here at 4 am to be there by 8. Anyway, he got pulled over for doing 80 in a 65 (he was speeding, so he deserved the ticket). The cop yelled at him and told him to slow down. So DH then does 55 and the SAME cop pulls him over for going too slow.
I think this is hilarious. DH -- not so much. lol

The limit on 80 in NJ is 65 - I can't imagine the MINIMUM being 65???? Even if it's on 95 -- the limit is probably 65, with a minimum of 50 or so - 55 is not 'slow' ---- weird cop. It's getting close to the end of the month, maybe he had a quota to fill? It's like their 'time of the month'
ugh, maybe that's why there's a cop at every corner of my town. They're soo obnoxious - just sitting & waiting for somebody to do something wrong. They make me suddenly paranoid about a simple stop sign. Losers. Do some REAL police work, maybe. Grrr... they make me crazy.
That's a good story though. I almost feel like the COP would be more annoyed than your husband (and maybe even a little embarrassed too. lol)

oh your poor dh- i think out of state police like to pick on new yorkers- that was dumb that the guy pulled him over- but at the same time hysterical

I think so too. That's why me & DH tried to rent a car with another state's plates for our cross country trip to Colorado. I was nervous that they'd see New York and suddenly be more eager to pull us over in the western slower states. lol. Luckily we succeeded in this mission and got something from Kentucky

aw, your poor DH! Shouldn't it have been obvious to the cop that of course he would drive slow right after being pulled over for speeding?
