I'm having minor surgery tomorrow (long story) and I have stressed myself out to the point where I had a VICIOUS nightmare... sleep walked (sleep walked? slept walked?) into my living room and deposited myself on the floor CRYING... ...
My SON woke up and found me.. ran to wake up my husband.. It took me a little while to *wake up* (and no-- I was NOT on any kind of medication... ) It was an awful panic attack.
I feel awful.. as if the poor kid isn't going through enough... he has to witness mommy going bat sh*t insane.

That sounds scary for all of you!! I am sure you little man was freaked out but is feeling so much better after you explained it to him. Best wishes and a speedy recovery to ya Caroline!!

OMG how scary...i am sure Aiden will be okay...i hope that you will be too and wish you a speedy recovery. As hard as it may be try doing something to keep your mond off of the surgery and keep busy

I told him I had a nightmare... he had a similar experience when he had a fever.. was 1/2 awake, 1/2 sleeping.. so he rememberd that.

i am so sorry - i know how that can affect you for some time afterwards ( i have sleep paralysis and it can ruin my WEEK when it happens )

Aw I'm sorry you are going through this. I had minor surgery a few years ago and the worst part about it was the days leading up to it. The surgery itself went fine and I was fine afterward, but the worrying before hand was Hell. I'm wishing you the best of luck and know that it will be fine. The waiting is the worst part but what you are feeling is perfectly normal.
