A Question for Thought, since we already have Q of the D
How would you classify yourself in High school - what group were you in, etc? (for example, DANA was Homecoming Queen)
How are you different today?
I was a fat theater girl who did the PA announcments in the morning. How awful.

Hmmm I think I am the same 'type' of girl that I was in high school..
As far as groups haha I hung out with the delinquents lol but personality wise I am still the same. Just as funny, caring, outgoing, etc.
I also met DH my senior year of high school
eta: I was the skinny girl in high school - that is not me now lol

Now although you are right, I was HC Queen, i was in that in between 'clique'. I was friends with the 'popular' kids (even though they were almost all a$$holes) and I was friends with the nerdy/not so liked people.
I didnt discriminate :)

I hear you. I also had very odd clothes in HS. I thought I was being creative. I did every club ever, except sports, b/c sports are the spawn of s a t a n.

I don't know if they have a group for me. Everyone knew me in HS, but I wasn't about to run for class president. I was in theater and track.

I loved sports. I was probably the only girl who was excited to be in gym class all the time lol

I travelled between groups easily...I was part of the smart kids..all honors and AP classes but hung out with or knew people in every group. I'm pretty much the same today...kinda fit in everywhere with peple of all walks of life.
I was alway heavy but was thinner in HS...not skinny by any means though.

Re: A Question for Thought, since we already have Q of the D
Well i was the one always hanging out in front of the school lol. I looked and dressed very different than I do now. I wore extremely baggy clothes in the beginning with the huge door knocker earrings, was completely into hip-hop. My HS was also VERY different, we had over 4k students so there wasnt one popular group like alot of schools. There were tons of groups and it was whoever you thought was the 'IN' crowd but there wasnt one particular one. The cheerleaders and football players didnt run the school like alot of other schools, nobody did really.
I didnt hang out with one particular group. My school also had alot of kids from other neighborhoods and boroughs so it was pretty divided. I hung out with all the kids from astoria that i grew up with, but also alot of other groups. I talked to everybody i didnt care. The rocker kids, the different neighborhoods, the ones in the honor classes, didnt matter. If i got along with them i was friends with them.

I was pretty much friends with everyone. I didn't do the 'partying' the kids did in my grade cause I just wasn't into the drinking and smoking cigs...
How am I different now? I think I'm pretty much the same.. Heavier than I was then, but whatever..

Re: A Question for Thought, since we already have Q of the D
i had my clique in HS that would fall under the 'not extremely popular, but not the rejects' crowd lol
i was nice to EVERONE tho.... i was made fun of and TOURTURED in 7th and 8th grade b/c i didnt have boobs or dress 'hot' so i know how it is to be bullied... therefore, i was nice and talked to EVERYONE - even the dorks haha
of course, there were a handful of girls that didnt like the fact that i was nice to the dorks and i had a few issues with them my first year of HS, but after that, it died and we never bothered each other
(i went to an all girls high school)

I was definitely different than I am now.
I was very shy, very quiet. I didn't have any friends really, and I was picked on alot. My mom was a single mom and we didn't have alot of money, so I had to wear hand me downs, and you know how kids are when you don't wear the new 'NIKES' that everyone else is wearing lol I don't know how I made it through to graduation lol
I am definitely more confident and outgoing now.

I wouldnt classify myself in the 'jock' group but I did play alot of sports. I played soccer 4 yrs, volleyball 1 yr, track 2 years and lacross 2 yrs. I'd say I wasnt popular but wasnt nerdy either, maybe right in between.
Many people disliked me though. Well I had alot of guy friends and their girlfriends freaked out. I guess that wasnt nice of me, but I always had my own bf. Oh and I always dated guys from other schools and people in my high school did not like that and always tried to start something when I brought them to parties. Not cool.
Last note - I won 'Class Gossip'
Oh I forgot to say...I got picked on alot because I was really skinny and had curly hair....people were so mean and I would always cry about it :( That happened more in Middle school and junior high

Re: A Question for Thought, since we already have Q of the D
I was a nerd and a band geek! I was in all the advanced/honors classes, I played the flute and never cut class. Total nerd. BUT I wouldn't change it for anything because my whole group of friends from HS are still very close and I love them!
