maybe 2-3 times a week and at night. DH flosses everyday. He encourages me to floss more often..lol
i rarely do it, it's not a fun chore. but like you i do it for the month prior to a cleaning LOL
I floss once in a while but I really should do it everyday considering that I've had periodontal work done.
last time i went to the dentist he said 50% of people over the age of 50 loose 50% of their teeth....doesn't seem possible, but i guess if you include the entire worlds population? anyway, he told me flossing is a major factor in keeping your teeth healthy and happy....i got those pics from CVS and now floss daily. he scared the sh*t out of me!!!

This is me! And last time I had a cleaning, they said, WOW, whatever you are doing, don't stop! So I took that as a sign that I do NOT need to floss.![]()
Heather -- the reason your gums bleed when your floss is because you are not doing it enough. My dentist told me that a while ago. If you did it more, they wouldn't bleed. Use that information as you wish, just passin' it on.![]()

I always floss every night. My teeth are very straight so I have to be good about this.
