A Sad Day For An Old T-Shirt

While doing the laundry today, DH finally admitted it was time to put one of his favorite old t-shirts to rest.

I found out they still sell them online, and offered to buy DH a new one since he was so sad to part with it ... but he said it was ok, he doesn't need it.

Anyone else's DH keep old college shirts?

Yeah, Anthony has a few that he does not want to part with.

He was only willing to part with it because there was a HUGE hole in the armpit and the collar looked like he had eaten it as a snack

aaawwwwww.......DH has a hard time parting with some of his old tee's. Especially his classic rocker tee shirts from back in the day. His pile of shirts he's willing to part with is slowly growing.

I was thinking of cutting them up and turning them into a quilt so it's something fun he'll have but no longer wear which is key

They did an episode on Rules of Engagement about this. It was funny ... the quilt smelt like him

That shirt's really funny!

My DH has a lot of destination T's - like from different places he's been or friends/family have been and have gotten him t-shirts from... but thankfully he only wears them as undershirts!

My DH has a 'rave' shirt that still has tags on it if anyone's interested....it may help replace.....who am I kidding

When we moved into our new apartment I threw out hyper color shirts I think I was 7 or 8 when they were out....so these babies were almost 10 years old :lojavascript:FEmote('');

OMG!!! Hyper-Color shirts that brings back such memories

mine still wears t's from high school! he's obsessed with them, and goes to cafe press all the time to get new ones. obsess much?

YES, DH not only still has some, he stills buys shirys like that, the other day I was wearing hi 'Morning Wood Lumber Co' T-shirt!

DH has this ratty old Jets t-shirt, seriously, it must be from 1992....

it has holes all over and the logo on it is almost all washed off... he loves it though and only wears it around the house, so i'll let is slide!

a new one he wears a lot says ' I don't need an encyclopedia... my wife knows it all!'
my mom bought him that one!
