a year of weddings coming up ...

We just got a STD in the mail today

Its gonna be a year of weddings / events for us ...

Bat Mitzvah - April 08
Wedding - August 08
Wedding - April 09
Wedding - June 09

That's all I know of so far ... I'm sure there's more I don't know about yet

I hear ya Jess!!! it's more a year of babies for us though!! therefore, I have a few showers to go to!!

March 9th- my friends shower
April- another baby shower
May 30th- wedding
July- wedding
Sept. 20th- wedding (just after our 1 year anniversary!)

and I'll have another friends baby shower to go too, just don't know the date yet


so Jess, I guess all the money we were spending last year for own weddings can now be put towards gifts for our friends weddings!! lol I have to say though I'll enjoy attending a wedding this year without making mental notes of things to do or not to do at my OWN wedding!! I'm sure we were all doing that before getting married!!!

Wow! That's a lot but it sounds like so much fun! We have 3 in 2008 so far - one in March, one in June and one in Sept. I'm so excited to go to a wedding now that I've had one! I'm gonna have so much fun ogling all the little details

Only 1 wedding this year and it's next friday
good thing - we're broke

its a payback time for us too

Feb 24 - cousin's baby shower
April something - friends wedding shower
3 nephews birthday
May 24 - friends wedding
July 13 - another wedding
August 17 - i'm a BM to our last wedding of the year

The only wedding I have coming up is in October of '09. I'm the matron of honor!

I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one going through this The last time we had a stretch of events like this was in 2003, when all *my* friends got married.

I told DH that his time would come ... now it has! 2 of those 3 weddings are his friends (its about time his friends started to get married!!)

We have 3 wedding this year, but they are kinda spread out...

one in May in Philly
one in July
and one in November

in 2009, we have 2 in July so far

we have weddings:
April 5
May 3
June (something)
Nov 7



ALL FAMILY...

and we're the first out of our friends to get married... oy vey

I'll be organizing my friend's wedding. She'll be getting married on Chistmas. I feel like it's my wedding b/c I'm looking for the hall, prices, making all of the necessary charts, etc.

I'll be the MOH, but feel like the bride again. Well, at least if I plan it, then I'll get a pretty MOH dress!

We're were invited to 4 Destination Weddings this year!!!
Don't think we're going to any of them-I want my house!!!!!

It was like that for us in 2006. We had 6 weddings including ours!! Luckily we don't have that many friends!!

We've got an engagement party in March.
3 Baby showers (all of the mommies to be are due with in 3 weeks of each other) and I don't know dates yet, but have been told that I am invited.
One Bridal shower in May.
50th Birthday party in July.
Wedding in September.

I know that I a missing more, but DH hid my calendar when I started to panic last night.

Ouch! none for us this year-ours were spanned out-mostly older, married friends. We have a first birthday to go to and thats it i think. Thank God!

does anyone else feel so funny realizing that we are ALL that age when ourselves and our friends are all starting the events of starting families and such---i feel so OLD! its hard to believe we are all wives and going to be (and some already are) mothers, aunts, godmothers, etc. this is my schedule right now:

Feb. 25th--our anniversary!

Mar. 1st-bridal shower
Mar. 8th-baby shower
Mar. 15th-baby shower
Mar. 27th-bachelorette party
Mar. 28th-Wedding
Apr. 19th-kids bday party
June ? - baby shower
Oct. 31-wedding (and obviously a bridal shower before that--not sure when)


just a few years ago--my schedule would be filled with parties as excuses to drink---or lots of clubbing!

seriously we are mature and like...stuff
