? about TY pictures

It's been over 4 months and I'm still writing my TY's because I have no time to do anything nowadays - I hardly log on here anymore because of lack of time. I figure I won't have my TYs out until late December, when I get a break from work. DH doesn't want to get pictures for TY notes because he doesn't want to hold up mailing them while waiting for pictures. However, since I won't have them done for at least another month, should I just order them now? How long did it take to get pictures for your TY notes? If we had pictures, we would just insert them in the TY notes. What do you think?

Thanks for your responses and I miss coming here everyday! Unfortunately I don't have access to the Internet from work and by the time I get home, I've got more work to do, plus cooking and other 'wifely duties' to perform *wink, wink* .

I guess it depends on your photographer but my thank you's just the pictures took about 2-3 weeks and it was around this time last year..I say just get them done.

I have rec'd pictures in a normal thank you card as you suggested and see no problem with it.

Mine took a week, but I was told 3-4.

It took less then a week for our TY pics to come in. If they are included with your photography package then I would order them - they will be in by the time you are done writing your cards.

It took 2 weeks for my photo's for the thank you's.

If you want them, go ahead and order them, they shouldn't take more than a month (unless you're picky like me

if you can't get your pics from your photographer why not scan one of your proofs and get your cards through shutterfly - they're running a special on photo note cards
