Absolutely ridiculous!!!!!!!

So, Debi is finally putting her Wedding Announcement into two local papers. The Lancaster Sunday News charges while the Penny Saver, is free. So, guess what The Lancaster News wants to charge for the pic/writeup, Debi submitted? $350!!!!!!!!!!!! Ridiculous, when the Penney Saver is FREE, and prints more details about the Wedding!!!!! Since the Sunday News changed their pricing policies on Engagement/Wedding/Anniversary Announcements, very few have the $ to announce anything, and that section of the paper has become totally BORINGGGGGGGGG!!!!!! Tell me what NY papers charge!!!!!! Mary MOB


PS Debi will probably decrease the pic size, meaning I'll have to find it with a magnifying glass!!!!

Wow! Yes, that is absolutely ridiculous. I'm sorry, I never did an announcement so I don't know what the going rates are.

wow here in Johnstown, Pa. we pay $120.00 and up to post your wedding pic. it does depend on the size....and the space for the article.....

Are you serious???? When Debi put their e-announcement in, I knew how tiny the other two choices of pics were, and told her, 'Please GET THE LARGEST SIZE, 'CAUSE I WANT TO BE ABLE TO SEE IT!!!!!' And, I paid half the bill. You know us Moms, we like to see/save for the 'ole scrapbook!!!! Mary MOB
