I don't think so. It's all over her crate, but broken beyond repair and almost recognition.

Our dog did that to my mom once too. He found her glasses ad chewed them up just as you said.

After she got over how mad she was, it became a running joke that Max literally eats everything!

Yeah, I know, I shouldn't be surprised. I'm mad that DH left them out (yes, he wears my glasses b/c he is too lazy to get his own) and then I'm just annoyed in general so it was like the last straw.

Anyway, it's 5 o'clock at least I can leave and maybe have myself a big old glass of wine and give Lucy and Dan the silent treatment.

On a side note... where does everyone get their glasses from?? I have insurance.

OMG!! I thought Darwin was the only dog that did this. He has eaten a total of FIVE pairs of glasses...

my ex, DH, a pair of mine and TWO of my brothers. I just paid $400 to replace my brother's since he doesn't have vision coverage!!!

She looked so sad when I got home that I could hardly be mad at her. Damn her! She was laying in her crate with her 'sad face' and ' sad ears' as I like to call them.

Over the years we've lost sooo many items to our dogs! I love them but sometimes I'd like to invoice them for damages!

try sam's club / bj's / costco for glasses ... i had frames already from my BIL but got the prescription filled at costco for around $125 (with no insurance coverage for glasses) ...

if you have your prescription and want designer frames, there is a stand in tri county up by the jewelry (next to turkan) that sells designer frames at ridiculously low prices

the name of the stand is escaping me now, but the guy's name is mark and i bought a pair of marc jacobs frames from him with my ridiculous prescription (frames were priced at $500 elsewhere plus my lenses which are usually $300-400), for a TOTAL of $300

definitely worth the trip
