In once sense I agree with Milana, they are taking children and raising them in a great environment.

HOWEVER, there is a part of me that thinks, these 2 are actors, how much attention are they really paying to all these kids while they are shooting movies etc.
They are going to have so many kids that the others dont get the attention they deserve or need.

I have to agree with Peggy and add another point...

Yes it is WONDERFUL they do so much for the rest of the world. these kids they adopted, pretty much hit the lottery. But as Peggy said, they don't have normal childhoods because Mommy and Daddy are globetrotting and making movies.

Also, although I fully believe in helping out less fortunate people in other countries, we have PLENTY of less fortunate children RIGHT HERE in the USA. I would think better of them if they had adopted from their own home country here where there are so many unwanted children living in sh*tty foster care systems as well as ones from other countries.

I realize poverty levels in other countries may be a bit more horrific then they are here, but to that child that gets passed over in THIS country, their reality is no better to them than the kid from Africa.

I see everyones point. I think its hard to judge them b/c they arent adopting children in this country, if they choose to adopt children from Africa i honestly think thats just as good as adopting children in our own backyard b/c we are all one world and what happens in Africa actually affects us in the United States to a degree, and vice versa. Many people see all the countries in the world as seperated & independant of one another, in fact we are not. We are one whole, with problems in every country, affecting one another.

In regards to them not adopting children with AIDS or children who are older or with limbs missing, i agree that if they really wanted to set an example and be good role models they would adopt the children no one want. But atleast we see Jolie giving 1/3rd of her salary to charity for hospital equipment and medicine for children. There are many celebs out there who pocket every cent and dont give back a dime.

i think its wonderful that theyre adopting.

and i dont know brad and angelina personally to know how available or loving or whatever they are with their children so i cant really say anything about that. media says all kinda of of sh!tty things and twists words so no one really knows what goes on. but i sure as heck see TONS of photos of the kids with brad and her doing all kinds of things together all of the time. i dunno...

they have the right to decide what type of child they want to adopt, just like anyone else. they are still giving children a home where they otherwise would not have the care they need.

I guess its great that they are taking hte kid out of the life f poverty.
but i wonder do they give these kids a real home with parent or do they give them a home with babysitters. i guess either way the kids are getting better lives
