So, we had a guest at the wedding who gave us a check, and it bounced...He then gave us another check (I never said anything to him about the first - he obviously knew it bounced...) which bounced AGAIN...
What do I do??? At this point, it's kind of annoying that we now have to pay fees on both of them...
Any input would be appreciated :)

Honestly, the guest will know again that the 2nd check bounced (they get a notice from the bank). Unless you want to ask them to pay for the fees for both of the bounced checks which might be VERY uncomfortable for the both of you (unfortunately), I would just let them make the next move. So sorry!

Yeah, that's what I figured I would do...but at this point, I don't want to even chance them giving me ANOTHER check, and have it bounce again...so if they try that, I don't know what I'll do...

Yeah, I was thinking about that... if they give you a third check I have a feeling they might say something - it would almost be weird for them to NOT mention something at that point. If they don't say anything, then I would kinda casually throw something out there or even try to make a joke of it if you have that kind of relationship with them - maybe even like '3rd times the charm???' and smile or something like that.

Ha, that could work...I feel so bad though...I really don't want a gift from someone that's in a bad financial situation...at this point, I kinda wish he wouldn't have given us anything right away...
