i am not ready to buy yet but i have been looking up houses online alottt. i stumbled across a really nice 2 bedroom condo that looks so nice and its a great price. if i got a house, i think it would be much more of a struggle and id def have to work full time when i have kids. if i have a condo, i def think i could manage to only have to work parttime. i could also def have 2 kids there and move eventually. any advice from condo or homeowners???? tia!!!!!!!!
My only advice is if you would be looking to sell eventually. I have had several friends try to sell their condos without much luck. Homes tend to have better resale value. I think the thing w/ condos is that there is constantly new construction so you can usually get a brand new one, for the same price someone is selling their older one. KWIM. If your not going to look to sell then you shouldn't worry. Condos also have fees that can increase over time which can stink if they go up.
I personally wouldnt buy a 2 bedroom. I live in a 2 bed apt and we are already outgrowing it. We only looked at 3 bedroom houses or more. Right now the market has very affordable houses so take advantage of it if you are looking to buy something.
