Re: After teh wedding do people still ask.....
Yes, but only those of our friends who are paying for their own wedding too. We don't mind telling them at all if it's going to help them save money

I think its so rude for people to ask all of us that, like you said if it is really going to help them, its not a problem. I really dont think price matters, every couple has the wedding they want, hopefully there way and if its small or large or low end or high end, it dosent matter, all that matters is that the bride and groom are happy.....Thats what life is all about, I wish these people would realize that....

Most people dont ask. However, many probably assume since we're young that we didnt pay for it ourselves.
We did share with our friends how much it cost us -- i dont mind telling them. But anyone out side of our close firends, its none of their business.

Re: After the wedding do people still ask.....
My friends did ask how much it cost, I told some of my closest family and friends, but not just anyone. I have one friend who not only wanted to know how much my wedding cost, but also wanted to know how much money I got from my guests.
The sad thing is that she didn't even take 'It's none of your business' as a hint.

Re: After the wedding do people still ask.....
actually, i have to say NO one has asked me... I had been fairly forthcoming that I was on a budget, so maybe that kept them off my back.
Or maybe it was too obvious that i only spent $20k on EVERYTHING for my wedding... i hope it didn't look cheap!
