It's sad, but I'd rather have a gift card to home depot than the mall since we bought our house.

I put myself on a budget...I definitely buy less for myself. I let myself spend about $200 a month on me--clothes, hair, etc. It used to be much more.

I barely spend any money on myslef... but I don't mind at all. We are getting more important things with our money Before we started saving for the wedding and the house we both wasted so much money. It is amazing how much we hve saved but stopping the unnecessary spending.

i make sure that i do find the money to buy some things for dh and for myself i think its important you cant live just to pay bills on the house and not have any fun

I am not a big spender, but DH and I never go without things we really want....
We always have a vacation planned, but we dont spend tons of money of unnecessary things.

I definitely buy less for myself. DH and I spend most of our money for food and household stuff. My DH also buys about the equal amount for us both for his hobbies and my own hobbies. My DH wants to make me happy since he knows I'm struggling with my professional life.

We have been slightly more conservative....spent a lot right away for the home but now we are trying to wait a little so we can take a vacation and relax.

us too! i hardly shop for myself. i found great sales at ny&co tho...and thats when i buy something.

after we bought/saving I barely buy anything for myself and if I do I have severe buyers remorse and return it! My Husband has to convince sometimes that is okay to keep it.

I buy things for myself but in moderation and before i buy them I rethink to myself if I really did them!

I mostly find myself spending the majority of the money on food or stuff needed for the house -
