Age: What do you consider...OLD?

Original post by jeffamanda080808

So after a Super Bowl Party with DH, and seeing many different age groups, my question is this..............

WHAT DO YOU CONSIDER OLD???

Yeah i dont look at a certain age as old, I mean i see some ppl in their 40's for example who are more vibrant, do alot more and more free spirited then some ppl in their 20's or 30's lol, so it all really depends on the person. I don't feel uncomfortable with older or younger, depending on the person. If someone is alot younger but very immature then yeah its hard to talk to them. But for example my cousin is 22 and her personality is alot older than me sometimes and many ppl i know lol so with her i can hang out with, talk about serious things with and have alot in common. From a young age she had moved out was on her own, then came back home to help out and now pays all the bills and takes care of herself.

But I also can hang out and talk to ppl a bit older than me and have a great time with them and have alot in common.

DH is freakin' 28 and he still thinks he's old. I've told him over & over that we are young & vibrant people. lol. And we will continue to stay that way as long as possible.

I think for me, I hate aging. lol. I wanted to stay 23 forever, that was a GOOD age! But even so, I never consider women in their 30's to be 'old' (it helps that DH will ALWAYS be 5 years older than me anyhow. hehe). But I do get nervous about the year I turn 40. That to me sounds old, but I know it's really not. My parents are right now in their late 50's, and they just don't seem 'old' to me at all. So I guess I have to agree with mostly everybody else who said that it's more about maturity level and your personality. It really depends on how you live your life.

the older i get (or feel i should say ) the less old everyone else seems....

SUCH a perfect way to put it....It's funny as I get older those who I once considered old dont seem old to me. I think of 75+ as old.....today I was on jury duty and I was talking to a 20yr old girl and I was like whoa what a difference (I just turned 27) I felt so much older than her...after college and a cple years into your career I think you age a lot

age is only as good as you feel!!!!!! If you feel young at any age..thats whats important!!! Age really is a state of mind! But I must admit must say that as the last few years of my 20's are ticking away..I am alittle depressed about turning the big 3-0!
