AAAAAH He won AGAIN! Not sure if any of you remember, but he also won tickets for us to see them at the WPLJ Sweet Sixteen at the Hard Rock!

WE GOT SIDE STAGE ACCESS for Friday night's show!!!!!! The band ALWAYS does this every tour and I always wondered how the hell people got to be in the fan pit! And HERE WE ARE!!!

Well I'm not 100% sure if he gets two passes....they're calling him back with details.

EEEEEE! I really hope he gets 2 passes- you'd think he would. I'm gonna take some SICK pictures!!!

If anyone was listening, he answered the 'These 5 Words' game. The lyric was 'Take what you can get' and he guessed the right song 'Bad Medicine!'

Congrats!!! Isn't there some kind of 30 day limit to winning. When I win I always pretend to be my mother.

A Bon Jovi video was on yesterday morning while I was getting ready. They all have updated themselves with good haircuts except for the guy with the jheri curl If you are close enough to him tell him to do something about that.

Awww poor Dave Bryan. He's such a sweetie. His hair is pretty bad though. DH calls him 'the Fraggle.'

here's the fraggle hair

His hair now is relaxed- if it was natural he'd have a full on afro -this pic is circa 1983. He's the last of the four guys, on the right.

His hair I think was MUCH worse during the Slippery When Wet days! with those AWFUL extensions coming out of his fro! he's on the far left.

oK SERIOUSLY seriously...its SO weird seeing pix with Alec Such in them!
i hate him! im so glad its just jon, tico, david and ritchie and its been that way forever...!!

Re: AHHHH DH WON Side stage access to BON JOVI!!!!!

Awww poor Alec John Such...yeah he was a hack but he was in the original lineup so I have a teeny soft spot in my heart for him. The BEST was when they played Giants in 2001 and he came on stage for Wanted Dead or Alive. OMG that was one of the COOLEST concert moments EVER. To see the original lineup on that huge screen- it was like an emotional timewarp! oh, and they ended the show with Never Say Goodbye...I was flipping!

I'm so excited for these shows!! They've rehearsed about 70 songs so they plan on changing up the setlists and playing some surprises....CAN'T WAIT! The last tour was the same damn thing each time- glad they learned their lesson!!

I'm gonna take AMAZING pics and I'll post them ASAP!!!

ETA: That concert in 2001? Both DH and I were there but didn't know each other...he drove all the way up from Georgia for both shows. We met online on backstagejbj.com just a few months later!

Congratulations....

Bon Jovi was my first concert when I was 14! (around 1989) I think Posion opened for them!

I still love them.....

Was the concert in 2001 the one that they recorded and played on VH1? I think it was the end of the tour for the Crush album. When he sang never Say Goodbye did her wear a Giants jersey with his name on it. If that is the show then i was there too with you you and your DH. I swear destiny brought us together.
That is pretty cool that at the concert was the man you were going to marry and you didn't even know it yet.

I know, isn't that so wild?

Yes, that was the show- they taped both nights and aired certain songs from both shows on VH1....and he wore the Giants jersey. They didn't show the Wanted Dead or Alive version with Alec on VH1 though, I was disappointed....

Can't wait for tonight! I'm just sad cuz my voice is in bad shape at the end of the week and I can't make it worse - have to recoup over the weekend. That means no screaming and singing loudly as I always do! Oh well, I still have SIDE STAGE ACCESS!
