Album Help

Hi Ladies...

'07er here trying to pick out my photos for my album... it's realyl hard trying to go through 800 proofs...

Did you all have any sort of system to narrow them down? categories? ways to sort? i need to get this done...

FYI: I don't have a disc, so it's proofs everywhere!

I havent picked out my proofs yet-but maybe if you do..before pics...ceremony pics...bp pics...rh pics...and seperate it that way it may help.

I dont know-Im kind of dreading that part

What I did was go through my parents album from there wedding and followed that pattern. I should be going to see my album layout soon so I hope it worked

I posted on the 07 board but I'll post it here (I still need to make 1000 ) plus this board doesn't seem to move as fast.

I put them in piles
getting ready
at the church
after the mass
pics with bridal party at pic location
reception pics.
Then i arranged these piles so getting ready became:
solo shots of me,
shots of flowers, shoes, garter,rings
shots with parents,
shots with bp......
When this was done I took out all the ones I liked.
Then I went through the ones I liked and put the ones that were similiar together and from that just kept narrowing it down as to which photo was the best.

I also had my mom help me bc DH just kept saying they were all fine. Mom was a bit more interested.

I separated the proofs into categories.

Getting ready
Old Westbury Gardens
Ceremony
After Ceremony
Cocktail hour
Reception
Venetian Hour

Then I picked the ones I liked better in each category. Then I continued to marrow it down. It was tough but I picked 76 pics out of over 1000! Good luck!
