Album help: What kind of cover?

what kind of cover would you get if you had the option of 3 diff ones?

1.) Acryllic album; clear with the picture inserted beneath and showing through like this:

2. Metallic cover.
I am unsure about this because I feel it would scratch.

3. Traditional leather cover

I am leaning towards the leather because its classic and we could get red leather which would still add some sass. But the acryllic is cool....ideas?

Leather....just my preference but with these kinds of things I think traditional is best.

Thanks girls!

KatH I agree-I think over the years the leather will jut wear in best because even roughed up leather looks better than scratched up metal.

The acryllic is COOL but for our lifestyle I think leather because we're desrtuctive lol.

Add me to team red leather, Jenn.

The metal (is it aluminum?) may scratch, but it may have a scratch resistant coating, many aluminum books come with that. I just think its a bit 'cold' for a wedding album personally.

I think acrylic is 'cool' but its also going to scratch and possibly even warp or fog up over time. Anything acrylic I've ever bought ends up in the trash eventually because damage of any kind ruins the look. The only exception being nail tips...

Jenn, given these three options and without seeing the acrylic or metal cover options in person, I would have to go with the leather option. I agree that the metal might look cool, but what if it gets scratched easily like you mentioned? And it does seem a bit cold as mentioned also. The acrylic cover looks like it would be sooooo cool, but if it's just a slab of acrylic with the picture under it, then I kinda feel like it would look funny when you open it - I'd be ALL for it if the picture was IN the acrylic somehow, you know? But again, I haven't seen it in person so maybe it looks better.

So I voted for the leather cover. I'd ONLY go for the red leather if it was the right shade of red - if its like an orangey red I'd nix it and go for the black. I personally prefer blue based reds if you know what I mean. HTH!!

OOO THANK YOU for letting me know the acryllic is heavy. Thats one thing I do not want-an album that you can use as a weapon. i never look at my mom's because the thing is so heavy.

OK definetly going with the leather then-still heavy but its fabric not a chunk of plastic lol
