So DH and I decided to get an album through our photographer. Now, he said to choose photos before we meet with him- we get 40 in the book and he said to chose under 100 if we can adn then we narrow it down with him. I dont even know where to begin in choosing! I def have some favorites, but its going to be so hard!

yup same here. we got 1300 proofs. we had to narrow down 200 for the online gallery and then 40 for album and 10 for portraits
i asked him to pick the 200 and the 40 - because i really cant narrow it down. i will see what he chooses and then we will add/delete anything we dont want.

just go through them and try to tell a story of your day by picking for each category.
ex- getting ready (guys, girls), details (shoes, bo-k, jewelry, invite, etc), ceremony (vows, rings, kiss, etc), reception (cake cutting, dances, etc), family portraits, portraits of you and DH, etc.

We started doing this last night and its a pain but we have it almost done..I actually thought it was going to be worse! We have over a 1000 proofs but when we started looking through them we realized there were a lot of the same things except from different angles or someones eyes are closed etc. Just dedicate some time to it and it will be done before you know it!

ugg I just did this I finally finished last night I could NOT narrow it down to only 85 images. I ended up with 115. So that means more mula for us
I just soo glad it is finally done. That was the absolute worst!

it took us a while too. As Jess said above, just go through them and pick your favorites from each of those categories. Thats how we did ours, and while it was excruciating at points, we finished and were only 11 shots over in the end.
