Album problems...UPDATED

Original post by LisaT

I haven't even seen it yet (mom has it) and I'm already aware of two problems:

1. they didn't crop a picture that was supposed to be cropped (removing one of the people in the picture). We were told this would be done.

2. they printed one of the pictures backwards! I guess they had the negative reversed. Apparently it looks normal except that my mom is on the wrong side of my uncle walking down the aisle (and the people in the background switch sides from one picture to the next).

I so want to be done with all this. Should I let this go? Or have it fixed. I'm afraid to actually see the album and find out what else is wrong...

But I'd want to go to them with all problems at once, so I have to see the album or go through it with my mom on the phone. Maybe have her take pictures of the pages.

I have knots in my stomach just thinking about it and the aggrevation of getting it fixed...

(the album is the kind with removable mats, so they don't proof beforehand. Pictures can be fixed on an individual basis)

So glad your photographer was accomodating. That is wonderful!
When I spoke up about a few things in my album, my photographer felt the need to blast me for it.

Re: Album problems...

I remember the problems you had, Cindy. It was horrible the way they treated you.

I didn't expect anything like that, but I thought they'd put up a little fight. They'll probably be glad to be done with us - we're very particular and know what we want (and what we don't)! I will be thrilled when I'm done with all this!

Congrats Lisa - you pay enough for the album - it should definately be the way you want it.

Glad it will work out - I know what you mean though, about not wanting to confront them and all. I just had a small issue resolved with my photographer but what a pain! Calls, visits back and forth - it's so annoying, but in the end, it is worth it. After all, we paid good money to have these vendors do their jobs, and I'm holding them to their high standards!!
